School of Electrical and Computer Engineering

The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering was established in 1983.
It numbers 2,000 students, 43 faculty members, 6 assistants and 33 administrative staff.

The department is divided into 3 departments:

  • Electrical Energy
  • Electronic and Computer Engineering
  • Telecommunications

The Electrical Energy Department covers the subject areas of sources and technology (conventional, nuclear and mild forms) for the production of electrical energy, electromechanical energy transformation, transfer and distribution of electrical energy, electricity economics, electrotechnical materials and power electronics.
The Electronic and Computer Engineering Department covers the subject areas of electronics, theory of circuits, automatic control, computers and information processing.
The Telecommunications Department covers the subject areas of electromagnetic fields, emission, transfer, reception and signal processing.
