School of Mathematics, Physics and Computational Sciences

The School of Mathematics, Physics and Computational Sciences provides support to the educational practices of all other Schools in the Faculty of Engineering.
It numbers 28 faculty members, 6 assistants and 6 administrative staff.

The School of Mathematics, Physics and Computational Sciences does not have an Undergraduate Study Program. However, it offers a significant number of core and elective courses, in the framework of the Undergraduate Study Programs of the other Schools at the Faculty of Engineering. Its members supervise undergraduate diploma theses from other Schools in the Faculty.

The undergraduate courses are organized per Department to cover the basic, introductory subjects at the other Schools of the Faculty of Engineering. Twenty-three subjects are taught that cover the fields of Mathematics, Computational Methods and Informatics, Physics and Mechanics.
