Στις ακτές τις Χαλκιδικής που βλέπουν προς το Θερμαϊκό κόλπο δίπλα σχεδόν στη
θάλασσα βρέθηκε το 1973 η θαυμάσια αυτή στήλη. Οι πτυχές του πέπλου, το πρόσωπο,
τα μαλλιά, το περιστέρι είναι δουλεμένα με αφάνταστη τρυφερότητα από τον
προικισμένο δημιουργό που προερχόταν από το παριανό εργαστήρι.

This lovely stele was found very close to the sea in 1973 on
   the shores of Halkidiki facing the Thermaic Gulf. The folds in the
   veil, the face, the hair and the dove are fashioned with incredible
   tenderness by the gifted artist, a native of the island of Paros.
