ATHENS Programme 2024

The School of Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki is a member of the ATHENS (Advanced Technology Higher Education Network/SOKRATES) Network, which includes 14 universities in Europe (indicatively: AUTH, Technische Universitat Munchen, Politecnico di Milano, Delft University of Technology, ParisTech, K.U. Leuven, Warsaw University of Technology, Czech Technical University in Prague, Instituto Superior Tecnico di Lisboa, Vienna Technical University).

Through the ATHENS network (http://www.athensnetwork. eu/), twice a year (March and November), students of the Faculty of Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (fourth and fifth year undergraduate students, postgraduate students and doctoral candidates) have the opportunity to attend an intensive one-week teaching programme (ATHENS programme) (30 hours of teaching and 10 to 15 hours of cultural activities) at one of the universities belonging to the above network. All lectures are in English and the topics of the programme lectures vary from university to university. There is no tuition fee, but participants must cover their own transport, accommodation and food costs.

Regarding the participation of the AUTh in this programme, the Faculty of Engineering in the November period sends students to the above Universities, but does not offer a programme itself. The Polytechnic School of AUTh offers a course only in the period of March.

This call is exclusively for the period of March 2024.

This year the ATHENS Network programme for the March period will take place between 16/03/2024 and 23/03/2024, simultaneously at all universities. Applications are open from 16/01/2024 until 30/01/2024.

The course offered by the AUTh Faculty of Engineering for March 2024 is
